WEEK OF FEBRUARY 24
4th graders at Hilltop will participate in the Bake for Good Kids program sponsored by King Arthur Flour. A BFGK instructor teaches a 50 minute demo at school and provides each student with a baking kit. Kids bake 2 loaves of bread at home over the weekend. On Monday, kids will return one loaf to school to be donated to the local soup kitchen.
Kids LEARN to make bread from scratch. Math + science + reading + baking know-how = something delicious!
Kids BAKE. They practice their new skills and use ingredients we provide to bake bread or rolls.
