LET’S BE GREEN! The Green Team needs your help with this year's Recycling Projects. We are collecting the following materials:


Clean, Dry Plastic Bags & Film (Hilltop & Mtn View)

Please send in newspaper sleeves, bread bags, cereal liners, product wrap, food storage bags, ice bags, pellet bags, product bags, dry cleaning bags, grocery bags, case overwrap, packaging air pillows, & salt bags. 

 

Unwanted Writing Utensils & Tape (Hilltop Only)

Please send in pens, highlighters, permanent markers, caps, mechanical pencils & empty scotch tape dispenser. 


Personal Care and Beauty Products (Hilltop Only)

Please send in shampoo, conditioner and hair products bottles, caps & tubes; makeup tubes, cases & packaging; soap dispensers & tubes; body wash and lotion dispensers & tubes. 


Brita Filters & Nespresso Capsules (Hilltop Only)

Your child will begin creating their masterpiece for Display My Art this month.  Look for the product brochure next month for great gift ideas created from your child's art.  Mendham's HSA receives a nice portion of the profits from each sale.  Donate to our school while supporting your child's artistic flair!


 



HSA Board Positions

 

The following list outlines which positions remain open for BOTH the 2019-2020  and 2020-2021 school years. If interested, please contact any member of the current HSA Board to discuss the role and transition process.

 

President / Co-President: 

Co President OPEN for 2020-2021

The President is a voting member, presides on all meetings of the association and of the executive board, coordinates the work of officers and committees of the association in order that the objectives may be promoted; Responsible for communication with the Principals, School Superintendent and parent community. The Co-president shadows the President in year one and performs all the duties of a president in the absence, and takes on the role of President in the second year of the tenure.

 

Vice President

OPEN for 2019-2020 AND 2020-2021

Vice president (Fund raising) is (voting member, 2 year tenure) and is responsible to plan and run the association’s fund raising events, in conjunction with the executive board.

 

Secretary

OPEN for 2020-2021

The recording/corresponding secretary (voting member, 2 year term) shall record the minutes of all general meetings and executive board meetings; shall conduct the correspondence of the association as directed by the president, executive board, or the association and other such duties as may be delegated by the president. 

 

Treasurer / Co-Treasurer

Co-Treasurer OPEN for 2019-2020 AND 2020-2021

The treasurer/co-treasurers (voting member & 2 year term) shall have custody of all of the funds of the association; shall keep a full and accurate account of receipts and expenditures; and in accordance with the budget adopted by the association, shall make disbursements as authorized by the president, executive board, or association.  All disbursements shall have two board signatures.

 

Executive Board meets once every month, and the Board conducts General Meeting several times throughout the year.
